DV - we were told way back when that the first lot were just divied in alphabetical order. I may even have a crappy old email somewhere

Sombrero I've done Monsal once before, but it was opposite direction as there was a 10k on and we missed the start as I got lost. Hoping to do it properly this time 😂


Haha, yeah it used to be the opposite direction and was an easier course but apparently one person made such a fuss about the numbers of runners that they had to change the route.

Did Dreiländergarten parkrun in Germany today. Stayed in Basel last night and travelled the 20mins here this morning.

It’s a small event, with the majority tourists from all over the place. It’s very close to France and Switzerland. One lady here has done something 230 different locations in 16 countries.

Today was my 49th location and 8th country.

It’s a lovely course, woodland trails, flat and 2 laps :)

RD said he’s hoping to set one up in Strasbourg, which would start and end in Germany, but go into France, which he said was allowed.

Big_G Milan Nord was hot - nearly got taken out by some mad cyclist crossing the running route in the park. Most runners seem to be fit club runners so did an easy one in the heat and tried to not go mad.

dobbers, it was hot when I did it last week too. It was a bit cooler today in Germany, plus there was a lot of shade in the woods.
