I did Roosevelt Island a few years ago, there were only about 20 people there, mostly Brits, and everyone introduced themselves before the start.

Touristing the Great Field this weekend and doing my 50th volunteer by pacing.

Ran to the local this morning and trotted around in 20 mins, they have a pacer event next week so I offered to run 20mins again.

Had a last minute decision to go to my NENDY Stockley Country parkrun as Sandhurst was off. Ended up meeting 4 friends from local running clubs and also two Fetchies JustCommando! and Going Commando! :-)

I came across this Google maps parkrun map which groups parkrun locations into regions. Also has info on former parkruns and why they closed.

Hoping to head to the new Thames Path Woolwich this weekend - we volunteered at the test event, and thought about heading to the inaugural last week, but decided that going to #2 was probably a better option.
