We had the reverse of that, we turned up a while back to help at a jpr before setting up ours. It was 8.40, with no one to be seen. It was close to 9 and still deserted before it dawned on me it was a really old jpr and had a later start time!

I'm yet to decide where I'll run. I have a cycling date with an old friend in Cambridge so a parkrun on the way from Sandhurst (via M3 Camberley) would be best. It might be Castle Park in Bishop's Stortford.

Raphael parkrun for us this week, anyone done it before?

I did Raphael back in July.
As I recall, it's all tarmac with 2 long laps and 1 shorter one, in a pretty park.
And the locals don't pronounce "Raphael" the same way that I do.

A parkrun which ran under one name for over a decade has just been renamed for the park rather than the city. Bit of a worry for those people who like to do alphabet related challenges:-) ?

Still amuses me that I've "done" Wexford Racecourse parkrun, despite having never set foot there..
