I'm in Bristol to visit my son and do Eastville, his local. Really looking forward to it, as it's one I haven't done.

Not a fan of the Eastville course myself when compared to most of the other Bristol-ish parkruns, too narrow a path in wet conditions for the numbers they get and to my mind at least a strange layout (Two big laps would have been my choice even if the start/finish were not then located in the same part). On the upside its a nice park with a Lovely lake with normally some good wildlife and the chance to see some otters in the Frome as well

Its a decent walk (and uphill) from the designated car park as well so allow plenty of time if you park there.

Hi Groundhog, we will be at Eastville on Saturday as we are taking my son's stuff to his new flat which is 1.5 miles from Eastville! See you there? I'll be wearing an apricot t-shirt from Stonehaven 😊
