Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

It did indeed but sadly the wind remained. What looked like a sub 20 at Halfway turned in to a pretty hard slog.

My heart sank when I woke up a little before 7am and heard the weather, but it cleared up before I set out. The course at Keswick was treacherous underfoot with wet leaves, thick in places, on tarmac.

I made an elementary counting error. Today turned out to be my 150th parkrun. I was sure it was going to be my 149th, and for 150 I'd go to Workington since it's a more cake-friendly venue.

I was third in my age category today. I move up a category next week and see I would have been first in that category if I was born six days earlier. Incredibly someone two age categories higher was still ahead of me though.

Stayed dry at Exmouth today. In all honesty, I almost didn't start, I am suffering from ear problems and dizziness at the moment, I'm getting it looked at next week.
So I unenthusiastically mooched to the start, went to the back, started steadily, but found my mojo after the first mile and finished quicker than most weeks.
So glad I ran, and I haven't felt bad since (touch wood)
