Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I suspect that tide tables help to inform many beach based courses to adopt an alternative route: certainly, this is the case at Crosby.

Wet from above and wet underfoot too when I walked the Prudhoe parkrun a couple of years ago.

Wettest for me was Mile End #250 - where it absolutely howled it down.
We have a regular "water feature", which can range from bone dry to filling one of the paths. When that happens, people tend to run on the other side - which is ok on the first lap, but on the second runs the risk of being barrelled over by one of the speedsters heading for the finish.

We've got a new parkrun being planned near me, and I think it may have a claim to be the wettest parkrun in the winter. There are some lakes in the park and in the winter they joined together across the path, you couldn't even see where the path was meant to be. It has been approved, the only sticking point now is parking as there is building work at the school offering car parking over the summer but there may well be a lot of winter cancellations.

I thought my third ever parkrun was quite damp (https://www.flickr.com/photos/80506300@N02/albums/72157660791383484) but some of these posts make it seem quite arid.

Forest of Dean was probably my absolute wettest. Still winderful, even in the rain.
