Several sets of stitches in various parts of my face, legs, back. Broken fingers, broken collar bone and teeth knocked out too. I've also managed 30+ years as an adult without any kind of injury.

There was a photo of me on the front page of the Courier a couple of weeks later playing crazy golf at St Mary's Fete. Not a pretty sight. To be fair, I was never exactly an oil painting. Well, maybe a Dali one.
