Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Music and Movement? 'Now children, can you make yourselves as tall as a house? As small as a mouse?'

All said in a perfect RP voice :-)

LD that is spot on.

As for most of the other things it makes me shudder. I hated sport at school ( I was hopeless) and was not popular enough to be included in the playground games.

Music and Movement is what Joyce Grenfell taught:

HowFar?
We did one that must have been based on Snow White and the seven dwarves because I remember being told to move round the hall like we were dwarves off to the mine. I thought it would be a good idea to try and walk round really low to the groun, like a dwarf, so I was stomping round the hall while trying to crouch down really low.
"I think all your tools might fall out of your pockets if you tried to walk like that," Mrs Myers grumbled at me.

And that was the end of me trying anything interesting in Music and Movement.

I mostly remember the posh voice telling you to stop moving by saying "And rest", drawing the "an" of and out so far that for ages I thought she was saying "Ann dressed."
