The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
We usually just call treatment either 'Routine' or 'Emergency' hillstrider. Depending on whether it was scheduled after a checkup or not. We are simple people in the dental trade.
Great stuff RunningFoxx! A younger partner/wife/husband makes all the difference--mine's 22 years younger..and she runs (ultras unfortunately for me...leaves me trailing)...My dentist and his main receptionist run too...always good to talk distances jut before a bit of treatment!
At this point it's worth regurgitating something my chiropodist said to me last year (which I've cut and pasted from my blog of the event):
"There's a lot to be said for triathlon. A combination of three sports is far kinder to the joints than any single one, especially running. Of course, the risk is that rather than dividing one's time between the three, one just spends three times as long training."
As an NHS employee I'm not getting rich any time soon! But dentistry is inherently bad for the body (especially the back) so sport keeps us aging specimens healthy. Though my injuries from falling off bike and on trail have been a little tricky in the last two years. But the physio works only 50m away!
I was driven to listen to Saturday Live on R4 on my way back from Exmouth parkrun this morning as R2 was not Dermot O'Leary but was someone droning on about some Star Wars film.
Anyway, the point of my post is, there was a chap called Milad Shadrooh who is also 'The Singing Dentist,' and he sang this,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiO2A_mAy5E
which made me laugh He also said he became a dentist because he liked science, was good with his hands and with people, and it was a 9 to 5 job, unlike medicine. No mention of the money
