She was sure it laid in wait for her because a couple of times she looked for it and couldn't see it .. then would hear the sound of it running along the path behind her. That mile split was definitely faster than the others ..

You often see people ahead making mad, ungainly leaps to the left as Mr and Mrs Swan assert their authority.

Shot put was good considering the few probs I've had recently, high jump was ok for a 65 year old but not up to my usual standard. Long jump was three centimetres further than I jumped last year - not a PB but most acceptable.

I ran 14.11 miles in the forest yesterday with Sarah. That was the furthest I had run since my knee injury last June.
