LOL MMM! That reminds me of grade 8, when teacher wanted us to go over horse...only land on top of it, then go over. Unfortunately for him, I'd already gone over them easily in gymnastics during the summer, so didn't know how to stop at the top. The teacher just missed getting a foot in the head by a whisker!;) I did warn him before I took off!

I broke an arm (just a greenstick break) leapfrogging a fellow fourth former in the school gym. I struggled to get up as far as the top of the horse!

Columba - fairly sure it isn't PF .. the soreness just seems to be due to a swollen foot. I thought it was better so went for a 4ml walk with Mrs WM yesterday. Have ended up with another bruised toe as a result

Knowing how to use the springboard makes a world of difference! Even as a toothpick I could get plenty of height and momentum.

Mel - are you wearing the best shoes for your feet? I only ask because you seem to have 'issues' fairly often, or am I mis-remembering? A 4 mile walk shouldn't give you a bruised toe, is my thinking. Tell me to mind my own business, I shan't take umbrage

(You couldn't take it from here Daisy, all the umbrage is on the 700 thread).
Been swimming. Just by way of cross-training, I'm not much of a swimmer.

LD - MYOB Seriously though, you're mis-remembering. I don't usually have any problems with my walking boots (or running shoes for that matter). But with my foot a bit swollen (from wearing the 'wrong' socks with my golf shoes) my toe was pressing against the boot, hence the bruising. The bruising has pretty much gone now and the foot feels better than last week. I don't think I'll try running just yet though - will give it a few more days rest.
Columba - I'm not really much of a swimmer either. But that doesn't stop me going along to the pool a couple of times a month and doing 20-30 lengths.

Not much of a swimmer. 20-30 lengths.
Does not compute!
