Slow jogging’s very good fun, really enjoying it. 4 miles in 43 minutes. The secret to strength work isn’t really a secret, just keep it simple to 6 movements & add accessories if you need to. Squat & hip hinge for lower body, vertical push/vertical pull & horizontal push/horizontal pull for upper body. It’s not particularly exciting working like that, but it’s effective & has stood the test of time.

Willpower is very unreliable and therefore a terrible strategy! Thinking about October now ds1 is off to uni...

Well today I bailed on a social ride but not because of the social bit. Weather was awful and the route wasn’t the most exciting. Instead I got stuff done including perusing B&Q to get some ideas for my hallway.

Strategy? Who said anything about strategy?
My new thing is doing more work around making our pre-match warm-ups better (for the U15 football team I coach). I’ve been watching lots of videos and next I will make my own plan and then practice it before next week.
