I have met my Waterloo ... but not what you think.
Just back from an almost three hour session with the Jumps Group. I did EVERYTHNG. Caps neccessary as I'm quite proud of myself.

Question for Rae (and Sharkie?)
kneeling on floor - facing door close to it hold each loop and pull to shoulder level
Will this do the same as a lat pull?

Try it! I reckon you'll be able to tell if your lats are working!
I'm pretty sure I've done a lying down version with the band round a heavy table leg.
