bike is in LBS Took it in last week and said I'd collect Tuesday as that's my early start/finish and he said he'd mail to confirm he never mailed so now I can't collect until Saturday unless we get to finish early tomorrow

Looking for Sharkie as I thought of her today as I passed the Northern Ballet building The lights were on and you could see into the large practice studio Lots of beautiful dancers in masks and 2 metre squares making some beautiful shapes
In other news I have a lovely plan and everything, just need to execute it now

Swim cancelled as I seem to have a touch of vertigo (?) and the wobbles. Like I’m on my 3rd glass of wine when I should have stopped at 2 just light headed Most odd

My October things are sitting on my patio as often as I can (was still outside at 7 last night) and cycling a bit more often for transport (I’m definitely more confident on a bike now though I only do a few miles at a time) Might be more to come!

I'm hoping to improve my swimming more too SO I have bought as self coached course of videos and books using Total Immersion (I had a day course a few years ago so this should be a refresher) The fast lane at the pool books quickly so I figure use the slow lane and do lots of work! After months off it isn't a bad thing I also think I could reduce pool time so instead of pushing 40-45 mins to get as much time as I can do 30-35 mins only cycle (using old bike as no-one would nick that!)
that way I get a double session! and as old bike is also heavy with limited gears (5!) it's strength work too! Obviously this may not be so appealing as the weather gets worse! But I don't like using my car for less than 4m each way feels wrong especially after months of next to no use!

That's a neat plan, Pix. And more cycling for Fleecy too. (What happened to the scootering? Was that just for v. short distances?)

Sneaked a look at V-rap's training log and saw that speed work. '10x200dp (around 400m) efforts.' What does dp mean? It sounds jolly tough!
I thought I was jolly tough running 6 x 200 yesterday ... but TEN FOURS! Or have I got this wrong?
