Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Have done 12. Was all fine apart from tiredness of double athletics today (HJ, shot and Jav, LJ and sprints) and the fact that I mistimed my last high jump and grazed my right elbow which made some of the poses today a bit sore on the right. But determined to put both elbows on ground because that's my show off thing.

Day 11 done.

A tricky start as Albie dog had refused to come in from the garden so when he came in he knew I was a little frustrated with him and was quite clingy, sniffing my face when I started day 11 on my back. I kept laughing and getting distracted. He did eventually settle on the chair to watch me. And just looked bemused at the end.

I am now somehow 2 sessions behind but tonight I did todays as it was a chill out evening session again. Lovely movement for the shoulders. It’s definitely worth finding 20m a day to do this and shouldn’t be too hard (easier said than done)

Day 13 done ✅

Trust
I’m always surprised/impressed by the slight variations Adriene introduces to completely change poses/movements - and how good they often feel. There were more of these today! I particularly liked the downward dog bits with feet to the sides. Loved the back bends and even got on ok with the fair amount of balance work -impressed that a balance heavy session coincided with a good balance day for me 😉 i managed the balance (high lunge) focused bits really strongly (for me) until we got to warrior three - on my right leg my arm variation was to hold onto a chair for support, on my left leg i could just touch the chair occasionally. Faired better on each leg when it transitioned to standing pigeon.
Surprised myself by enjoying this today - suspect I would have felt frustrated if it had been a bad balance day.

Whereas I was much better on warrior 3 than the lungy stuff!

Day 13 done.

Another enjoyable one that was over quickly.

I do find balance ones really tough. You'd think i was practising on a bouncy castle not the floor. How hard can it be to put one leg behind the other!!!

Balances? I'll look forward to Day 13 when I catch up. :-)

Glad you all enjoyed it.

Warrior III is one of those balances (along with Tree, Dancer, Flamingo, Eagle ........ ) which really benefit from developing having a good Drishti point that Sharkie asked me about a few pages ago so that you can "fix" yourself in position (as well as having good leg muscles).

I agree panad , Adriene is good at providing variations, as are all good yoga teachers. Hope you continue to find modifications to suit you.
