Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

@Ness we wanted to book both Covid and flu jabs but we needed to travel to get both done together. We booked the Covid jab and asked about flu at the pharmacy and got it at the same time.

Have just got back after a longish walk with Mo. Thought I’d get her out for a couple of hours whilst it’s dry.

Green tea with ginger.

This talk of jabs reminds me we need to book our second shingles vaccination. Trouble is, there's not much time to fit it in before Christmas and I've got 3 races booked for January.

Hi all. No florentines to spare. They are all promised elsewhere. The florentines are dead easy. Even I can make them.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
