My top secret mission is simmering nicely ATM. I don't think it will make Jack difference to Greenhead as it's entirely off road and quite aggressively off road at that, which has got you all thinking.

Penistone, if the TPT is tarmac or something very similar so more likely to tempt peeps away.

Hi LukeyB, welcome to Fetch! I don't know of any forthcoming additions in the South West, but wish you well in your parkrun tour :-)

richmac, your top secret mission venue seems like it's right up my street - aggressively off-road! :)

rich, if it's in the manner of Watergrove or Lyme, i.e. a mini fell race, it'll be on my list. And quite probably almost on our doorstep by then.

I'm getting properly intrigued by this given that a) Greenhead is too busy for me these days and b) I'm liking trail runs more and more.

(although, Lala's exploits with Huddersfield Town Ladies U-9 means that I'm unlikely to get to it until the football season is mostly over)

Speaking of recent inaugurals, I'm off to Beaumont Park junior parkrun with Little Bear in the morning. :)

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
