Dvorak - speaking of southwest Scotland, I did Crichton parkrun last week. Another beauty! And the best post-parkrun cafe I've been to.

The café does look very classy. And you could pop into the spa post-run as well. Although it is a long trip, I may venture down … it's not that far to the border pint. You are fair getting around, snayak :-).

I was at Lanark Loch today and afaik trod a tiny bit of the prospective parkrun course - lovely setting and looks like it could be a cracker (and not too far from me for the odd visit).

Haha yes, just a few short(ish) trips across the border for me lately. I have yet to be disappointed by a Scottish parkrun course!

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
