It's in Hurst, Wokingham, just north of Winnersh - nothing too exotic! It's a lovely place though.

Ooh. I need a D, and that's probably easier to get to than Dulwich

I've never thought to check out the alphabet thing before; I've just looked and I need G I J L Q T V X Y Z. T will be sorted with Troon next month if all goes to plan. I guess a few of them are quite difficult |

Well done, CW. Pastures - do roam the course? And were the inaugural numbers inline with what you were expecting? Up here, latest public info I can see is Kinross speaking to HQ re launch; Lanark adjusting course after measuring. And Girvan (south of Ayr) launch date announced (I'll leave any interested parties to look that up). Not quite getting into the large empty area of SW Scotland, but edging closer. |

Inverness! I have lived in both and would recommend the northern option. |

Linds come to Dinton for your D! There are no cows on the course but they are in the park. I was going to try and route the course round that bit but there are kissing gates only to get into the field so I stuck with an easier route. Numbers were pretty good I think. The core team all had a guess on how many would turn up. The guesses were between 75 (me) and 250 (our ambassador) so we really didn’t know! |

Re Footscray - Please respect wishes of the local core team and parkrun HQ by delaying any visit until the event has bedded in. The location has taken 18 months planning with consultations between the local council, residents and friends of the meadows group, the area has many sites of specific scientific interest and has only been possible thanks to the goodwill of these groups and the local farm who are providing car parking and cafe facilities. The local community have been very supportive and keen to have a local parkrun whilst local parkrunners at nearby events have also recognised the need to keep a low profile. |
