The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Orangefield in Belfast due to be starting on Aug 4, all being well. Slap bang in between 3 other Belfast events - the hope would be it could perhaps take some away from Victoria, Ormeau and Stormont, which is getting bigger
Orangefield - now there is a name for a parkrun in Belfast. A question I have wondered about - do some parkruns very largely only serve their local community? Or more bluntly: are there catholic parkruns and protestant parkruns?
Things have obviously changed a lot in Belfast in recent years, and parkrun is one big happy family, but still … do people from, say, Orangefield feel entirely comfortable heading down, as an example, the Falls Road to attend Falls parkrun?
I don't know if I am allowed to post the inaugural date of the one at Sizewell here now - but it has been widely advertised on other places on the internet.
No need to have my Ready Brek before going to that one!
Yes Doc I will be at Sheringham on Saturday - whether I make it to parkrun or not I can't confirm at this stage (although I hope to) but I will be at the beer festival later in the day!!
