Great to see the number of brand spanking new first time runners at two of the three new UK events at the weekend. Littleport and Newborough Forest.

Middleton Woods is a lovely parkrun, we were there at the beginning of the month :)

Whitehaven slipped its inaugural out today. 92 participants. Looks like it's an out-and-back course and on the side of Whitehaven furthest away from Workington so it should be "local" for a different population.

I'll pop along and take a look sometime.

DInton Pastures (a third event for Reading)
had a test event on saturday. They hope to start 14th July.

Usual conditions apply, blah, blah, blah, don't turn up at the inaugural unless you're a member of the in-crowd or you're not adverse to public naming and shaming, etc

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
