It's in the pipeline and progress has been made but a lot needs to happen before an event can go on the confirmed list and get an inaugural date, so continued patience is needed. Meanwhile the east midlands has lots of other lovely parkruns and we even have some that aren't too far from Loughborough.

MrBrightside
Eden Project parkrun looks exceptional and offers free full access to the Eden Project biodomes for parkrunners and supporters at the time of the event.

Thanks MrBrightside. Have perfect weather conditions on a weekly basis been organised too?

But what do they mean by "at the time of the event". Will they kick everyone out at 10:30 and make them pay to go back in?

My understanding is that *entry* at the time of the event is free... and once you've entered, you're in. People arriving after parkrun have to pay as normal. I predict lots of people suddenly getting interested in being parkrun spectators on Saturdays

Fizz :-)
The Eden Project website edenproject.com says "Friends and family of runners get free entry to Eden for the morning."

And at 11:59 someone comes round with a bit toasting fork and jabs you until you leave.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
