I think it is a requirement for Bristol area parkruns to have an impossibly steep, and or muddy, hill to negotiate in their courses. No idea how Chipping Sodbury got through, although they do have several "tricky-to-negotiate-at-speed-when-lapping-people-on-lap-3-chicanes" and a flowerbed to contend with.

The Downs would be far too flat for a Bristol parkrun.

Spideog - our hill at PH is no longer muddy due to getting some drainage work done. TBH it was much better when it was a swampy steep bog.

Our hill(s) at Thornbury shouldn't be too muddy, but the flat bits likely will be over the winter

Fizz :-)
Sorry smithy, Fetch is a good forum, and I apologise for giving such a poor first impression.

Loughborough has been "longer-term, heard on the grapevine" for quite some time.

As per usual the anti Cornishness on this forum stinks ;-).

No mention of Eden Project park run, starting 11th November. While new parkruns always welcome, not sure Cornwall needed another super hilly one to go with the other super hilly ones, but here goes: parkrun.org.uk

Fizz, I wouldn't apologise to smithy as he/she appears to be the latest troll without a profile who's come on here over the past few months asking about Loughborough.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
