That's a serious weight, Al, whatever bar you use!! Agree training goals can be very personal. I was very happy when I first DL'd my bodyweight, and I'm not aspiring to go any higher, I'm working on other strength goals.

Hope you mentioned it to the staff, quimby! The culprit is probably on cctv and I'd like to think the gym staff could work out whodunnit and have a word!

The staff don't arrive until after I leave in the morning. It's just about 6 people and the cleaners when I go.

Bicep curls

I have limited dumbbells so they go from 6kg to 8.5 then 10

I have 1kg velcro wrist/ankle weights if I put those in when using the 6kg would that be acceptable for 7kg?

Also if I use eg 3.5kg dumbbells would I use 7kg bar for similar effect? And again would the 1kg velcro weights then add 2kg so 9?

Trying to see if I can get different weights without buying more dumbbells!
