Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What a great bunch :-) Love “hearing” you all talk. I’m on a similar journey / of a similar mindset - make a few more gains while I can (at 57) by pushing hard, then work to keep as much strength and flexibility as possible for as long as possible. I’ve been trying to convince my nieces they should build muscle now (both still below 30) as their menopausal future selves with thank them 😂

Hope so, GM. I wish I could convince my sister to find some kind of exercise she would enjoy doing because at the moment, she does none.

It’s a shame if there’s nothing active she enjoys, Ness. Doesn’t have to be running, cycling or anything remotely sporty to have great benefits.

You must be very different:

We are! And I can get that walking, running or weight training aren't her thing. I'd hope she'd find something. Dance classes, say? With our family history of osteoporosis risk it would be better if she found something.

I don’t dispute that you’re all very nice in this thread but I resent the implication that the blokes on fetcheveryone.com/forum/arms-like-garth---a-weight-training-wire-62488/ aren’t.

However, I only resent it for comedic effect.😉

... a weights wire for women.

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.

Here's a strength standards for women thing Duracel found for us
