I was so disappointed that my bench pressing didn't seem any easier today after the initial 8 x 20kg... that i just had to improve my deadlift PB
So I did.
50kg x 4
Then 55 x 3. I know its only another 2.5 since Thursday but 55 sounds so much better than 52.5.
Also Pb'd on Lat Pull down 35 x 6 (that's heavy for little me)

Thanks but I still have a way to catch you I think! The Lee Valley gym was VERY intimidating today. I'm almost prouder of myself for not just runing away than I am of my new PeeBs!
And now I must stop me-me-me-ing and look back at the last page...

Earlybird ... you are doing FANTASTIC! I insist you stop putting yourself down! There is so much good and so much progress in your last report.
Is this with your original trainer or have you swapped to the other chap you liked so much? (both sound good to me)

Erm no! I haven't lifted beyond 60kg Nd that was months ago! Though to be fair my focus has shifted somewhat. Gains are great though eh!

Oh dear, PT sprang "The 12 days of fitness" on me this morning. It's the session usually reserved for the last week before Christmas, but I'll have Tiger Feet with me next week and he's already giving her group a tougher version of it at school today, so today it was. It's pretty simple - 1 burpee, 2 inch worms, 1 burpee, 3 deadlifts, 2 inchworms etc. Small weights - 35kg for the deadlifts and 15kg for the presses, but Oh. My. Goodness. It was just what my stressed brain needed and apart from backache, I feel So Much Better.

Boak HB! That looks fairly horrific - well done!
Well done to all lately - some great workouts and great weights being lifted
I have done no exercise this week, and not well today. Hoping I'm feeling well enough to try to get to gym tomorrow night for squats (deload week this week for squats & deadlifts).
