Decoupage balls with scraps of fabric - I could add hanging strings and use them as baubles, but I like them piled up in a glass dish. It’s just a displacement activity really

My first two felt things. Embroidery skills somewhat lacking - and not helped by being long-sighted and working without enough light, but I am overall pleased. Daughter has bagged one and the other will be a gift for a neighbour. They are about 9cm long.

On to my birds next :-)

Very nice! You've done the French knots very well there. :)

Grrrr - finally cutting out fabric for a quilt I'd planned for my niece's wedding (nearly 18 months ago!). I decided to switch the order of a couple of fabrics in the log cabin piece and of course that means I don't have quite enough of one of them - and I can't find any more in the same design.

Thought I'd come on here as I remembered a list of useful fabric shops but that's gone...can anyone recommend a good site for quilting fabrics? I bought the original from Minerva.

Meanwhile this is as crafty as I got over Christmas - a "lovey" for a neighbour's new (or not so new now) baby.
