Matching masks are definitely the way to go!

I did enjoy the shirt, and will do more, though he's well stocked right now, so not for a bit. Th fabric is a bit heavier weight than I expected, but it looks fine and he says it's comfortable.

I have decided to treat myself to a new sewing machine, my old one is a Toyota and very, very basic. I have been looking at the Janome DC3050 from John Lewis, johnlewis.com has anyone else got this model? Reading here I know Janome are popular.

Sharkie I seem to recall you were going to get a new machine, have you got one yet?

Nice Mrs J. I did write an article about what I'd want. I do love my janome. Looks like a nice machine.

Definitely thumbs up for my Janome. (Purps deserves a commission for being the Influencer) I have the GD8100,which I can’t find for sale now...but pretty similar spec to DC3050.

Only bugbear was paying £49 for a walking foot as an extra. I find it a great product and really helpful...but all manufacturers do charge an excessive amount for extra specialty feet. I’m just trying a ‘will fit a Janome machine’ piping foot rather than the branded version £8 as opposed to £19

My Janome came with a free quilting kit-a walking foot and a table extension for the arm. I’ve yet to use the walking foot!

I got the quilting pack as well, I think it was a fairly standard free add-on for quite a while
