Threw in a little UT2 action this evening when we got home from our trip to Leicester. 2 x 20 min @ r18 gave me a 2:13 split and kept the HR under the UT2 limit on average, with just a little flirting with the line on the second half of the second piece until I pushed it on a bit for the finish.

This might be starting to work. ;-)

Oh, and that clocked me 60k for the week, which is nice.

I've been feeling what seems to be a slight strain in the right quad so a couple of days off are in order, methinks.

Might give it a gentle UT2 bash tomorrow, we'll see.

Same here Nellers I used a hotel gym erg today and the chain felt awful, I did 1k before deciding to move to other cardio machines instead. I then did another 1k to finish and the pace and stroke rate was all over the place it kept showing pace at ~1:30 and SR at around 80, I kind of wish I'd done a 2k TT as a steady 1k came out at sub1:50 pace 😂

As long as you get photographic proof of the monitor at the end of the 2k it would count.

Where was this hotel, exactly? ;-)

Nellers when you're ready to do your next 2k send me a fiver and I'll forward you directions to this super fast erg 😉 mind you going by the feel of the chain and the clunking noises it was making I'm not sure it would survive a 2k 😂

Sounds perfect, Craggy, because at the moment I'm not sure I would either. ;-)

I need 9k to get the 200 for May, but the session on the plan is only about 7.5ish. I think there might be a slightly longer warm down row required.

Oh, also I meant to ask the other day: Does anyone else use ErgIQ on their Garmin to record their rows? It's been a good back-up for me for a while but over the last couple of sessions it's stopped recording HR or calorie data which Garmin Connect can read. It's still got the data in there somewhere (there are graphs showing for HR, pace, power and stroke rate within the recorded activity) but the headline shows no HR data and no calories burned.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it onto my watch but still nothing. Anyone else seeing similar? And if so have you worked out how to fix it?
