I'm guessing that over a period of time a bicycle saddle might exert some kind of pressure on the prostate and therefore affect the PSA result. (It's only a routine check because the GP said might as well since I'm of, ahem, a certain age.)

Today's random workout generator gave me 3 minutes at 2k+9 and 90 seconds recovery x 12. Touted as mid tier and I'd say that's about right. Was becoming hard work by the 9th rep and beyond but that's probably the whole point of it.

Note to self. If a thumbnail gouges a knee on the return, I need to improve my handle timing. And trim that nail.

That feels like it’s going to be a lot to get through, Muttley. Well done.

And yes, it sounds like your recovery timing needs some attention.😬

Nice session, Muttley! I thought of you as my hand made contact with my knee a couple of times...

WOD for me here, plus a few metres for WU and CD to make decent (for me) metreage. I want to have a stab at the "April Fool's" challenge of rowing the same number of (thousand) metres as the date for the first 15 days of the month - so working up to 15,000m on April 15th (doesn't have to be all in one go).

Away from my machine now for a week.

Now there's a sentence to take out of context :-)

Plan today is to do a 2km test later on to see what progress is being made. Hoping to duck under 7:20 but as long as it’s faster than the last one (7:28.something) I’m ok with it.

Anyone else testing anytime soon?

7:20.1! I now remember why I don’t do this often.
