Great time, Nellers - almost spot on what you targeted and well below your last one.

I will not be doing a test any time soon - maybe in a month's time.

And I died hugely about 3 strokes before the line! Seeing stars and everything. 3 strokes short of 7:19.9!😤

Ah well. It’s not December yet. Plenty of time.

A nice improvement Nellers!

Too tasty for me I think. I do need to row a 2km for the CTC before the end of March so I’ll give myself till next weekend as my return from the bit of back trouble is a bit slow.

What were your stats? Pacing and SPM ?

Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M
7:20.1 2,000m 1:50.0 263 1204 29 164

1:50.2 500m 1:50.2 262 1200 29 162
1:50.4 1,000m 1:50.4 260 1195 30 165
1:49.7 1,500m 1:49.7 265 1212 30 166
1:49.6 2,000m 1:49.6 266 1214 31 163

Fairly even with a bit of a push from halfway, so not bad on that basis. I just went a bit early with my finish and it was too much. Judging it to within 3 or 4 strokes of the line at this stage isn't bad though, I guess.

Once I start throwing in a bit more threshold work I think I'll see a difference in how I'm able to hold higher rates and power but I'm happy with this as a marker at this stage.

2 more weeks of base them the Threshold stuff comes in from 8/4, then the next 2k test is the first week of May I think.

PB'd at 2km after long run today. 8:25. I take it easy then totally blitz the last 100 metres. Have maxed at 365W.

365 watts is big, mate! Well done. I’ll add you to the list.

Looks very nicely controlled Nellers. Looking good. If I can just dip under my 7:26 I’ll be delighted.

Saturday or Sunday Nellers.

The C2CTC challenge is 2k so I need to put something on the scoresheet before April

A 7:25 could be possible based on tonight’s 4 x 1km
