Ah, I have an older watch than you I guess (735XT I think) and it has no pre-loaded rowing app so I had to go and find one. Maybe the Row Indoors app would do the job too?

Row Indoors is pretty rudimentary - it tracks time, HR & stroke rate (sort-of) - but not much in the way of detail. If you enter a distance manually into Fetch, then your HR graph becomes a single vertical line, which isn't much use.

ErgIQ doesn't give a proper distance in the record but you can get to stroke rate, power, speed, distance etc on the Garmin entry, and you do get the splits with what comes through to Fetch, and you can fill in at least approx. distances manually.

I've never had ErgData fail on me but I've seen plenty of reports like that so may check out the ErgIQ app.
Also need to update my PM5 but I can't do that until I've changed the battery, which is a bit annoying! The battery is only about half-drained.

If you've got ErgData fully updated on your phone it should offer the option to update your PM5 whenever those firmware updates are issued. It's a lot easier with this new ErgData app than it used to be when we needed a USB stick and a download from the website.

I think I need to update it first manually as it’s not the right version to be able to do it wirelessly.

Sometimes I just don’t want think things through!
On paper 3 x 15 minutes @ r22 doesn’t sound too bad, especially if you say it fast. Turns out that adding in warm up and down clocked me just over 14.4km! I mean, if I’d done the maths I’d have realised it was going to be about that much but I just didn’t.
Anyway, it wasn’t too bad but it was a looong way for me these days.

Nice metres Nellers, I'm guilty of doing that sometimes - I'll sometimes bang out a 2k warm up without thinking about what the main session adds up to 🤣 some Brucey bonus metres are always good though, especially on a Sunday which has traditionally always been long 'run' day 😉

It has at least made me think about what I'm going to be doing (according to the plan) over the next few weeks. I'm keeping it to 4 sessions per week on the rower but I'm realising that a lot of those are going to be over the hour which isn't something I did much of last week.
Still, if it works......

And another one!
45 minutes at r20 this morning gave me a bit over 10k. No rowing tomorrow though. I'll go for a swim instead.
