Thanks. I am using the ErgData thingy. Might just go for the basics for now but will change if I get into it a bit more

Ooooh how exciting! You can donate to the Cats in Boxes thread when you've unpacked.

Nothing for me today. And probably tomorrow too. Second covid jab this morning so just waiting to see how I feel.

I ground through 4 x 2k at 2:05 target pace this evening. Went out when I finished work and opened the shed up and put a fan on. It was 42c in there!

It had cooled down to a much more comfortable 32c by the time I got on the rower.🥵😩

42 degrees! I spent a few days in a desert in that kind of temperature once. 32 is bad enough though.

I felt fine this morning after yesterday's second jab so decided to try it out on the rower with the hrm. 10,000 at easy UT2 pace, all went fine, hr a little lower than usual if anything. I'll see how it goes for a run tomorrow. I know people who say after their second jab they felt like they'd been hit by a train. Maybe I'm weird.

I think the jab reactions vary massively. Some get floored by the first and nothing from the second, others it’s opposite and others still get both or neither. This seems to be pretty much the case no matter which version of the vaccine you get. Fingers crossed you don’t get an adverse reaction at all though.

Aye, it seems to be entirely random. Mother of Muttley was feverish for a couple of days after her second jab. I was slightly off-colour for a day after my first, so far fine after the second.

He may have been having me on, but the guy who did me yesterday said he was a vet. Either way, my distemper is certainly getting better.

Do you have your avatar on any id Muttley? That might be why you got the vet.😉

First 2,000 metre session

8:41.6 - my weight puts me just inside the lightweight category. I forgot how painful rowing is…

That’s a decent start there Dave. Well done, mate, and welcome to the madhouse officially.😉

Just about to start my session in the shed.

Might need to pop the top I think. Shirts are dumb!😉

Definitely a three fan problem!
