Oh dear. Shingles is not fun. Mother of Muttley had a while back and it knocked her for six for months. Hopefully you'll not be that badly affected, Sinj. Maybe your fitness will help. Take it easy and get well soon.
(We'll look after your place on the distance table!)

News from Twitter: This one slipped under the radar. Liang Zhang(CHN) M2X World Champion, [breaks] the @concept2 world marathon record (42,195m) holding an average 1:39 for 2 hours, 19 minutes, 20.8 seconds
Cracknell now says heโs just going for the GB 40-49 record; Waxing my board okay oiling my chain ahead of tmrwโs marathon. Excited, nervous & undecided. Option 1. GB record (40-49) 2:32:55.8 definitely possible 2. World record (40-49) 2:26:40.1 not happening 3. Personal goal 2:29:59.9 potentially but I could blow

He's an absolute beast. I back him to do it. Unfortunately I'll be out on my bike while he's livestreaming it.

A couple of days off the erg for me. Bit of a stiff shoulder and forearm after taking a tumble and landing heavily during yesterday's run.

That's an immense performance from the boy Cracknell. Well done to him.
Muttley, best idea to give it a rest and let it settle. Also try to not fall over again. Gravity is a bitch.

Wow you have all been busy, well done to everyone who took part in the heptathlon challenge, there's some mighty fine performances logged by you guys ๐ช
I hope you recover quickly Sinj and Muttley!
I enjoyed watching the latter stages of Crackers marathon, what a performance! I also enjoyed a live 2k the other night by one of our club members who has just turned 17, his projected finish was 5:48 with less than 300m to go but he lost it a bit towards the end but still clocked a phenomenal 5:53. Last season as a 16 year old he clocked 5:49 which placed him 4th in the world in all age groups... some talent there!
I've had another cough (third one since March) so haven't done anything this week, hopefully back on the erg tomorrow ๐

Jeez! That kid needs a vest with a union flag on it mate. He's going to be famous (well, as famous as any rowers get).
No rowing for me today. 3 hour bike ride this morning so I think I'll let my legs and my bum have a bit of recovery.

He makes it looks really easy! He's American unfortunately.
Half marathon rows and 3 hour bike rides you really don't like your bum do you mate? ๐ well done on your sub 40 10k btw!

Cheers mate.
It's not that I don't like my bum. It's that it just needs to shut up and let me get on with things and stop all that complaining!
