15km steady state this morning. It was pretty warm in the shed. Definitely a 3 fan day!

Morning. I was supposed to 15 x 3 minutes / 1 min rest, with a side order of adding 1 metre to each rep as a distraction or focus. But I started out overambitious -- 10 extra metres not to mention 15 within 3 minutes doesn't sound much but it makes a difference. So I did 10 and called it a day. Next time I'll start out a bit slower. Still a decent workout though.

Still a decent chunk of metres at a pretty respectable pace Muttley. Nice work.

Just finished my second top end interval session of the current campaign. 16 x 250m max pace/250m easy recovery. Jeez! Well I did it and The paces were all where I wanted them to be but I was shaking by the time I came back into the house and stairs were a challenge!

That sounds similar to my favourite sesh of 15 x 1 minute eyeballs out 1 minute recover. Indeed, give that one the beans and I'm wobbly for the rest of the day :-)

Similar Muttley. The efforts are around 51 seconds, recoveries are more like 1:30 but the principles is the same. It's certainly no walk in the park!

There's a bit of a gap opening up in the distance table between the first three and the chasing pack :-)

And I did an unintended sneaky yesterday and didn't change the training type to rowing on my main set. I'm 7.75km behind where I should be. No rowing today though. I thought I'd give them all a bit of a chance.;-)

Morning. A couple of 5,000 metre sets for me today, done as 20 spm for the first 3,000 then 1,000 at 22, 500 at 24, and 2 x 250 at 26 and 28. For some reason it was heavy going and my paces were down on what I wanted. But it's really sticky and humid here, and I'm pouring with sweat so maybe that's why.

Very sticky and humid here too - hopefully the threatening thunderstorms will actually hit soon and help clear things up a bit.

First row in about 10 days today the C2 short WOD, 3x6mins with level changes and 3 recovery between. Enjoyed that and wasn't too taxing. Only imported half to fetch though for some reason so i just logged it twice to keep my distances accurate.
