Excellent, Nellers. But curb your enthusiasm, ease yourself back into it, don't go thrashing yourself straight off!
Morning all. For me, 3 x 20 mins at marathon, 10k, and marathon again paces. Or 20 - 24 - 20 spm. Went well if rather sweatily. The final 20 minutes was harder than expected, incl keeping the spm down to 20. About 13,500 metres in total.

Yep, 2k yesterday, 5k today, 30 minutes on Thursday, maybe 10k at the weekend. If that all goes well I'll do some 10k and hours next week then see where that leaves me before thinking about adding anything strenuous back in.
How is everyone else doing? Nice to see Mousey popping in to see us, and clocking up a few kms again.

Thanks, mate. Baby steps here, the mojo may have returned, but the fitness is going to take a while! Take it easy.

Morning. Greetings Mousey, good to see you in action again. I'd noticed that you've been putting in the sessions
Reporting 2 x 25 minutes, of which 8 mins at 24 spm and the remaining 17 at 20 spm. In each 25-min segment, the first 8 and latter 17 minutes returned identical average and peak hr numbers ... if you see what I mean. Not sure what the significance of that is, if anything ...

Good work Muttley. I'd sat that means you had a nice, controlled effort level. Disciplined. Shorter, harder intervals would generally see the HR peak and average increase within each subsequent effort.
I'm generally doing C2 short WOD every other day now - i like the surprise and the variety. Today was 500m TT so i sandwiched it between 2 2000m gentle pieces. First time I've tried that and was chuffed to hit the time predicted by Paul's Law from my 2000m a few weeks ago. 1:43.1 fading a little at the end.
