sorry to hear that Nellers - be careful, we still won't catch you though! So true sinj! :D Seat pad arrived yesterday so gave it a go today for 3x2000m with 4 min rest. I was definitely a little more comfortable but the main benefit I found was that it seemed to put me in a better position and I got what I felt was a much better stroke. I did up the the DF the other day too which may have also contributed but today's session definitely felt good. No more tweaks for a week or 2 so we shall see. |

If you've got a spare minute this weekend then you can log your one minute challenge for team π¬π§ (or π¦πΊ π³πΏπ¨π¦ ) π britishrowing.org Nice session Rog! If you felt the pad put you in a better position it might be worth playing about with the position of your feet, mine are a couple of holes lower than when I first started, (you want to be in a position that allows your shins to be vertical at the catch) although I do tend to raise them during sprints because you're less likely to fall of the seat π |

Logged my one minute for π¬π§. Managed 320m which is a 5m improvement on 4 days ago. My partner Angela (a runner) also had a go and logged an impressive 272m πͺ

Cheers Craggy - I've experimented with different foot placements and think I had found the best one for me. Will keep checking every so often though. Did 2x10 minutes of stroke ladders 4,3,2,1 of 18,20,22 and 24 keeping half an eye on pace. Pace predictions from within Wolverine plan were pretty accurate and I enjoyed rowing a little easier and with a bit more focus. Then I had another bash at the 60 seconds - a 10m improvement on last week but annoyingly now sat at 299m! Will have to find another metre before the next effort π |

Morning. Still gloriously sunny and warm down 'ere in deepest darkest Cornwall but apparently it won't last. Had the patio doors open for today's session: just a slow 10,000 metres. Only issue was that there's a tree nearby shedding fluffy pollen all over the place and a couple of times I had to pause to attend to bits of it getting up my nose. Fortunately, I do not suffer from hay fever.

Nice rate ladder Rog, and that's a big improvement on the one minute, def need to go again for the 300+π Well done Muttley, I've had a few annoying reasons for having to pause, but I'm yet to encounter pollen up the nose. Mind you I was inside today as it was peeing it down. Steady 10k yesterday, then today 4x5k with 90 sec rest , pace was 2.1s faster than last weeks 5x4k/2r so pleased with progress. 20:38, 20:29, 20:19, 19:54. πΊ time now |

Well done folks, and especially Rog T on that improvement. Youβre flying, mate. In other news Iβm getting used to turbotrainer workouts again. This is as close to my erg as Iβm getting at the mo: π |
