I bought my C2 back in 2007 and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. 13 years and approaching 12 million metres later, it's still giving sterling service.

I bought mine 2nd hand. The guy seemed very genuine and the machine was in good condition. I gave up my gym membership at the same time in a bid to justify the purchase. Mud Season Madness is nearly done. 22 days so far. Only 3 to go in the next 5 days. Being at home is helping as I am not running, coaching or socialising much these days. Not sure what to do next? I am thinking I may start building up towards a full marathon. I have done a couple of HMs and with the last month's training I think 5-6 weeks should do it. Not looking for a time, just the distance. |

I would join you, sinj, but I'm trying to stick to the 1 hour max limit for now and I think that might be a bit of a push for a marathon.;-)

Thought this may be of interest: Matthew Tarrant is a current member of the British Rowing team and a multiple-time World Champion. At RowElite we'll be hosting daily "row alongs" with Matt on the Ergworld platform. It's all online, totally free and gives individuals struggling with the prospect of training alone to feel part of a group again. All you require is an internet connection and a PM5 conecept2 monitor with Bluetooth. Usually, we row at 10:30 for 12k but these can move around so make sure to follow Matthew and RowElite on social media to find out when the next session will be. Having said I won't go beyond that 1 hour session I've had a mischievous thought, and I'm blaming Sinj for planting the seed. I think tomorrow I'm going to try for a Half Marathon PB. I was getting bored with doing a daily 10k anyway. |
