Enjoy your last 2 days as a full time Erger Nellers and I hope the new job goes well!

That video was a good watch thanks for sharing. We enjoy watching the CrossFit games on YouTube in the summer, in 2018 they had to do a marathon row on the erg, and they only found out the day before.

Full of admiration for on the water rowers!

I saw some footage of the marathon row, Craggy, and the tekkers was painful. Then again I bet mine isn't too smart after 20km, lt alone in the later stages of a 42.2! The CrossFit Games athletes are on another level!

Haha there was some dodgey technique especially towards the end, I wouldn't imagine they'd do many long rows in training but as you say fitness wise they are on another level so cope with anything.

Using my last day of freedom to get some quality metres in. Descending steps session of 5/4/3/2/1kms. First one aiming for about 2:14 pace then trying to up it by about half a second/500m each piece. Recovery 30 seconds for every km of the effort (2:30, 2, 1:30 etc).

That was fun! About 75 minutes on the slide. All of it (except a bit of the final piece) at aerobic levels of effort. 15km of efforts and about 1100m of easy recovery.

4 stars. Would recommend.;-)

Sounds like a great session - nice way to mix it up a bit.

Good luck tomorrow - hope your first day goes well and you settle in quickly. :-)

Muttley
Greetings all. Nellers is quiet this morning, they must be making him do some work ... This is our chance to catch him on the league table :-)

Reporting just a steady row, metres in the bank.

Ha! One day to make up a 100+ mile deficit for the month. Do team metres count?

I'm thinking of borrowing fionajane716's erg and submitting a quick 4,000 miles to take the top spot :)

I hope you all managed to get your 100+ km done already because Iā€™ve survived day one back in the ā€œeconomically active sectorā€ and Iā€™m in The Shed already.šŸ˜±
