Rowed a half marathon yesterday evening.
1:31.46. Creeping ever closer to a sub 1:30.

Advice needed on how to keep my toes warm.
The C2 is in the shed, and whilst I was steaming, my toes were freezing.

No idea on the toes mate. Not something once had problems with so far.

Half mara distance is a slog isn’t it? Feels like a very long time to just keep rowing!

Worked off the effects of 4 hours in the car with a 6 x 2k at tempo session this evening. Felt significantly more do-able than it was a couple of weeks ago. Paces more comfortable and (I think but I need to check) stroke rate lower for the pace.

Nice work on the half sinj - wooly socks? or could you strap on a hot water bottle?

Well done Muttley, do you rerow and set your previous time as the pace boat? (I've only just discovered that feature... still learning)

Well done on the half marathon Sinj, looking good for sub 1:30 next time!

Big session there Nellers well done, hope you enjoyed your rest/break.

12k for me made up of 9000 @r18, 1500 @r22, 750 @r28, 500 @fr and 250 eyeballs out, all with 1:30 rest. I was rained off at 3k so moved indoors and set up the rest of the session in the conservatory 😁

Craggy, I use a programme called RowPro by Digital Rowing on a laptop when I row. It lets me rerun a previous row instead of just keying in the average pace (although I can do that as well). It's a bit clunky but I love it. About once a fortnight I do a 5k and aim to just beat myself from the previous time.

In fact I don't know how to use the PM3 because I do it all in RowPro.

Sounds good Muttley, and a good to way to keep assessing your progress. I think that feature is available on the PM (I googled after reading your earlier post) I'll give it a go sometime, cheers.

Did a 1k TT today, my first one since Oct last year, and I managed a 9.3 seconds PB with 3:21.7, so very happy with that πŸ‘

Wow Craggy, that's speedy! How do you warm up for that? A few minutes just to get everything moving?

At the other end of the spectrum...started beginners' Pete plan today with a 5000m. Felt like much harder work than I expected and I was disappointed with the pace - but I might be a bit tired from Beachy and I'd just done some weights so I went with it on the basis that anything is better than nothing!

It didn't look all that slow to me SK. Metres in the bank will help for later, whatever pace you do them at.
