Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

And set up for a marathon I see. Brilliant!

Did a 10k steady this morning before taking the car to the garage so they can fleece me.

Managed to get a rower this morning and did my longest row yet. ;-)

Man already on the one next door, a chain rattler, he did half an hour, on number 10, everything sticking out, and grunting.

There is a short comparison between the erg bike and a watt bike here:

I'm having a couple of weeks off from training because the doctor said so. I've written a blog explaining why. It's nothing serious I don't think but until it's all checked out and cleared I'm taking it easy.

Pass the crisps and beer.;-)

Oh.

Sounds like you are definitely taking the sensible approach Nellers. Intensely frustrating, but very sensible.

And, as you said earlier, rest & recovery are all part of training improvement.

Enjoy the break and come back strong and with the doctor's blessing in the new year.

Oh dear Nellers, just when you got your lovely new rower. :( Better safe than sorry though, enjoy your holiday.
