Cheers Rosehip.
I feel the first phase of losing weight is to "shrink your stomach". It's probably psychological, but it feels like the first few weeks you get used to eating less and then it becomes much easier to carry on within your daily calorie goal. Most days I don't feel hungry outside of meal times even though my net consumption looks radically low. Trendweight says I'm burning 1375 calories a day more than I eat but my Garmin says I'm averaging 1000 cals a day of exercise which explains most of it.

Great progress azx and I bet getting into the jeans felt amazing.
F: It is amazing how much we can eat and how quick it adds up.

Not much progress as yet but I can gain 2lbs over night ...... I have stayed the same so that is constant.
Sticking to 16:8 and under 1600 I like to be between 14-1600 and yesterday I was hungry so need to plan better food but I am sick of eggs at the moment.

I'm following this thread with interest. I tend not to eat from about 7 - 8 pm at night until lunchtime the following day so am doing that fasting thing more or less anyway (doesn't make any difference but the earlier I start eating, the more I eat during the day!). I don't give up alcohol as I've tried that and it makes no difference so why bother ;-) Life is hard enough!

I'm hoping that when I can get back running properly again, then the weight should start going down as the mileage goes up. Everything is crossed for that last sentence (both the running and the weight loss)

I’ve had a terrible morning. All logged but I’m already out of calories. At least I have an hour’s time trial which should burn 700cal this PM. Just need to ‘go again’. Just got so hungry (and bored). Sat in kitchen on crap calls.

Oh no, that;s frustrating after all your hard work, I know how easy that is to do though.

Restart tomorrow, be strong

It’s okay I’ll still be under. I’m up against my 1500 limit with exercise still to do. Just not had a pig out at lunch recently!

1,500 😬.

Do not envy you that. 2,000 + exercise is a pain, can't imagine getting by on 1,500.

Just checked, I've 1,500 done through lunch time!

One day doesn't change anything. With losing weight I think you always need an eye on the long term since the scales don't tell a true story. If you're using a trending app or spreadsheet, your true progress is measured over several days or even weeks. I had a week not so long ago where I lost no weight the whole week but still my trend was on a downward path due to the trailing average lag. Kept me hopeful!

One day will not affect things as azx has said it is the downward trend.Tomorrow you will be back on it and you have 700 exercise calories too off set.

I like the website Azx linked too and it is helpful.
