An acceptably hard parkrun effort.

A gentle three miles to see if the niggly hamstring held up. It did

A very pleasing course parkrun pb after an abscence of 8 years without any specific training . ( I was quite unfit the last time and possibly not even sober 😔)

46:30 for a lumpy 10k. Pleased with that.

That's not bad, @Ally-C 60 minutes easy for me. With DOMS from a small number of goblet squats on Friday. |

Nice running all Was at the van this weekend so did a 15 miler with a few miles on the beaches on Sunday. I did 2 mile warm up to one of the beaches then 1.2k tempo effort recovered to HR then 5 x 1.2k at 5k effort again recovery to HR. All efforts and recovery on the beaches. Windy on the beach and you don’t get the return of energy even on the hard sand like you do on road etc but happy with intervals. Easy to last half mile or so then MP back to van on the road. |
