Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice running peeps!
I got to get out in the snow soon Steve (weekend will make me do it :) )

Today I went for an easy run, tallying up the month to 524,4 km (328mi)
Best month ever by a half a mile or so I hope this builds my aerobic engine to where I need it :)

Good news that heart surgeons recommend macaroni pie, since that's what I was planning for tea tonight!

I don’t know if he recommended them, but certainly indulged.

Still on the injury bench! Groin strain/ muscle pull - whatever it is, is not clearing up.

I stopped entering events in 2018 (last race Stockport 10)

as I was picking up injuries. Decided to reduce mileage to 600 miles PA & I still pick up injuries!

Frustrating, Tried swimming?

Last night 8.30pm OK, it was cold, -2 deg C but almost calm too. Four layers = one too many and I finished wreathed in sweat! Grass gave trails some give but some sand was frozen & rutted - ankle wrenching stuff :-o 45 min.

Stopped open water swimming in October swittle, was getting a tad cold. Will return to it next year - I enjoyed it, but thought this is a pass time not a SAS selection process. No doubt there some Hardy souls still having a dip. Tide times are important, bit silly to go in the dark.
