riggys99 Jaks Bowman πΈπͺ I do appreciate the good wishes. Mine wasn't a 'red letter' run but worth it for the 'lift' it gave to my spirits!

Glad it helped swittle 5 miles or so easy to get the blood flowing after yesterdays long run. Pleased to find no aches and pains right from the start. |

A cool evening, SSE wind close to 20mph and whipping up a high tide just short of 30 feet at 11pm. Prom, left inland and trails by the lakes before utilising a helpful 20 ft corridor of beach 'twixt sea and dunes. A loop into Blundellsands, then past the baths and over the coastal park 63 min.

If Im honest, every run Ive done this last week has been tough. Marathon training has caught up with me. The weather hasnt helped, grey, driving wind, rain. Not great for a fair weather runner. I've surprised myself. Kept it up. Not far to go for the taper! Im not sure I'm cut out for this spring marathon in the UK thing, think I'll be alright for doing an autumn marathon though. |

Stick to it, Minimag - you've banked so many of the tough miles, ready to invest on race day.

You've done well, Minimag. The weather this spring has been particularly unfriendly. I haven't had a single run in shorts yet.

Jono.
Good morning, Minimag winter training is never easy, but I'm sure you will get through you spring marathon. We had a conversation in work yesterday concerning the changeable weather & decided the the lads who walk around in sliders, shorts & a big puffa jacket should be forgiven. Did a couple of 2 mile runs before work during the week. 10k this morning, mild but changeable. |
