Hilly, wet and cold half race today, a minute slower than the same course last year (although that was in dry conditions)
This was a 'tune-up' race for me, and I think I will be able to manage twice the distance, on a flat course, at about 40 seconds per mile slower, so all good for my sub-4 :)

Good work all

20.75 miles on a day more suited to kite flying than marathon training especially on the beach and prom
16.3 miles at marathon effort

Nice run despite the conditions

Very short, almost a rest day for me today. 3km loop around the block from the office for me. Sun was lovely and warm, the wind was horrible and cold!

An hour by the sea last night; too cloudy for the Parade of Planets - not looking much better tonight. Round the boating lake, then a couple of miles to Burbo Bank, before trailing it to he baths and a shelving progression towards a far distant tide.

Woke up to the sound of heavy rain, really not excited to run to work, but it had to be done.

In fairness, it was only light rain by the time I set off, but got heavier throughout. I got in the shower at work to dry off!

The clocks changing meant I should have had my headtorch really, but didn't think to get it out.

That sounds grim ptr_runner

Apart from the 125 miles each way, this is why I drive to work
