They're a Belgian band, so probably a case of lost in translation!!

Stereolab at SWX on Satuday. As one heckler shouted "Don't stay away so long next time"

We saw The Wedding Present on Saturday at Keele University Students' Union. Very good night out. The support act was a solo Rolo McGinty from the Woodentops. Both performances made up for the lack of drinkable beer. The Amstel was off and the Heineken was warm. I ended up drinking gin & tonic - not very indie.

Manics were fabulous, thoroughly enjoyed them.
Bon Jovi put on a good show but I do think it is about time he stopped - his voice is no where near as good as it was (breaks my heart to say it).

Isn't the same true of James Dean Bradfield MM? I heard that the Manics were using more backing/backup singers...

No, McG.
What's happening with JDB is that he no longer plays the difficult guitar bits whilst singing. Other than one song, his voice was as good as ever when we saw them in May.
There is another guitarist who supports.
There are backing singers but I don't think any more than previously.
