I love her lots, she mixes pop and politics in a Billy Bragg for the 21st century style, her recent album is excellent, and last night was a full band show which really made for a full sound, dare I say it more rock than folk. It's also hugely life affirming to be in a room full of people who share a lot of your politics and despair at the state of the country and world!

TripletMum was taking one of her friends, a big Michael Buble fan, as a Xmas treat but her friend was ill and she didn't want to go by herself so I went along to keep her company. That's 2 hours of my life I'm not getting back.
