That's worrying 😟 How does Revolut work? Do you need to pre-load it? |

Thanks for the heads up NE. I’ve been wondering whether to get a Curve card for Garmin Pay, I’m not sure it’s worth the bother of getting a new account for it as I don’t go anywhere without my phone anyway.

It's just an on-line only bank account. Based in the Baltic States again, but working hard on getting proper accreditation. The App is advanced and well-thought out, you can block certain transactions and types of vendor, so for instance you could block eBay purchases. I think you probably could get an overdraft, but for me that would be pointless so I just keep transferring loose change to it from my "real" current account and keep enough money in it to pay for cafes, beer, chip shop etc.

I have no target race or plan on Garmin so maybe that's why it's happy with zero anaerobic? That or because it knows my bodyweight 😂 The change was a 5k run this morning, it took me from being under after my 10k in the week to over today. |

I've just switched to Revolut as Curve always worried me having my debit card attached to it anyway and at least Revolut will only have whatever cash I put in it. I only intend on it being for small purchases here and there.

So, just referring to my original post this is why I only have a small balance with them (usually < £100) and if ever something does get compromised I don't stand to lose much. However - and I guess this is the point - if you want to use Garmin Pay your options are limited. |

p.s. sounds like @Gooner eschews exactly the same rationale as me
