Big_G 24 Sep 1:00pm, 24 Sep 2024 4,041 posts	0 Big_G I make use of different settings as ~~strava~~ updates the shoes I’m wearing to my trail shoes (I only have one pair), and I’ve been experimenting with not including trail runs in the Garmin VO2 Max estimates. But it’s not a deal breaker at all.

larkim 24 Sep 1:18pm, 24 Sep 2024 25,663 posts	0 larkim Agree on the ~~strava~~ shoes thing too. Though I sometimes regret it as most of the time the one course I run which is trail is my local parkrun, and whilst it is definitely trail it doesn't need trail shoes!

larkim 26 Sep 11:21am, 26 Sep 2024 25,682 posts	0 larkim Just tried it and had no issues. Posted on the reddit thread, but created a route and shared it via GPX to Connect as I would do normally. I didn't do a complex route. Happy to test out here if you want to share the gpx file with me?
